How We Got Here

Look, we've been doing this long enough to know what works and what doesn't. Here's the journey that shaped who we are today.

The Beginning

Started with three lawyers, a shared office space, and way too much coffee. We wanted to build something different - a firm that actually talked straight with clients instead of drowning them in legal jargon.

2011

First Major Win

Represented a tech startup in what became one of Toronto's landmark IP cases that year. That win put us on the map and showed we could compete with the big downtown firms.

2014

Growing the Team

Expanded to our Bay Street location and brought on some seriously talented lawyers who shared our vision. Turned out there were more folks tired of the old-school firm culture than we thought.

2017

Adapting & Thriving

Yeah, that year was rough for everyone. But we pivoted fast, helped dozens of clients navigate the chaos, and proved that our flexible approach wasn't just talk.

2020

Recognition & Growth

Named one of Canada's top mid-sized corporate law firms. Added specialized practice areas and somehow managed to keep that startup energy we started with.
